Christine Dixon

Chris joined BVAR in July of 2002 and returned again in the summers of 2003 and 2004. She received her BA in Anthropology with an emphasis on Archaeology from Saint Mary's College in 2003. Chris has participated in lab research in the UC Berkeley Mesoamerican Archaeology Lab as well as assisted with excavations in Hawaii and Honduras. She received that 2002 Saint Mary's Field School grant and the 2003 Department Anthropology Award. In January of 2003, Chris supervised the excavation of residential structures in Honduras as part of her senior honors thesis. She presented this thesis at the Santa Clara Undergraduate Sociology and Anthropology Conference as well as at the Saint Mary's College Anthropology Senior Thesis Forum.
